Module 1 – mornings
Aims: confidence and techniques
How often have you found it so difficult to get started (you stare at that blank paper or canvas and then go and have another cup of coffee!). The beginnings are crucial – Module 1 consists of sure-fire ways of how to start with confidence. Henry will show you how to plan and execute any painting you want to do in an easy step-by-step approach. He will cover design, colour, light/dark texture, movement, focal point, how to finish a painting and techniques that will turn an ordinary painting into one that will have impact, atmosphere, light and magic.
Module 2 – Afternoons, early evenings
The field trips to the village and countryside are essential to fully experience being in the landscape of all that the Languedoc, Le Sud de France, has to offer. Painting, drawing, photography are all optional – it is for you, the student, to decide – is it “all work and no play…” ?, etc. Why not contact us and tell us what you would like? This is the truly enjoyable holiday part of the course. We are totally flexible and love to hear from clients.
Equipment: We suggest you bring your own paints, brushes, paper – therefore you will be comfortable with familiar materials.
